Whom Shall I Fear?

“The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1

Dear Heavenly Father, at times fear seems to surround us. It closes in and brings discord, doubt and feelings of epic discouragement and abandonment. Fear invites the darkness into our lives and feeds the worst of our imaginations. But your Word tells us that fear is not of you God! Fear is of the enemy, who only exists to steal, kill and destroy. Today we come into agreement in the Light; that you Lord are our Salvation, and our very personal refuge in the worst of storms. We therefore declare that you Father are our Light and our Salvation and we shall not fear but walk in the Truth: “The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?”
