God Is Light

“God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” 1 John 1: 5-7

Father, we know that you are The Light in the darkness. Today, we pray for your divine guidance as we seek your presence in the midst of the darkness…a darkness that shouts the lies of our sin, dispair and loneliness. But even in our dark moments, we still know the Truth: You are the Light of the World! So today let us step out of the darkness and walk humbly with you and all believers in your Glorious Light. Amen.
