Be Strong and Courageous
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
Dear Heavenly Father, it is so easy to become discouraged. The moment we take our eyes off you, hope fades quickly. Without hope, we have no future. So today Lord we purposely fix our eyes upon you. We choose to obey the command you gave Joshua and the Israelites to be strong and courageous. We shall not be afraid and we shall not be discouraged by worldly events or life’s many challenges. Today Lord we choose to be strong and courageous, and live life fully in the hope and future we have in you! Amen
