Shine Like The Stars
Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life. Philippians 2: 14-16
Dear Heavenly Father, as believers, we no longer wander in the desert and we live comfortable lives of plenty. Yet, we are prone to grumble and argue as the freed captives of Israel in the desert of Egypt. Forgive us Lord for so easily lapsing into the ways of the world! Today we reject grumbling and arguing and reclaim our freedom. We shall not return to Pharaoh! Father, renew our hearts with the truth that illuminates the world: You are the Way, the Truth and the Life! In contrast to this warped and crooked generation, may we now shine like the stars as children of God. Amen!
